-Our body can’t ‘speak’ to us in words,
-so it starts doing all kinds of crazy things
-to get our attention.
-We get ‘triggered’ when we’re in a situation
-that reminds it of a past trauma.
-The trigger is usually related to one of our senses.
-Our body is trying to let us know we’re in danger!!
-We go into ‘hyper alert’ mode.
-This is all unconscious.
-The body creates these REAL symptoms because of a FEAR it will be re-hurt.
-The quicker we understand our ”body’s stress responses”,
-the quicker we’ll be able to implement our anti-stress techniques!
