Clogged intestine?

19 Friday Sep 2008

backed up, bloating, body cleanse, clogged intestine, colitis, cramping, crohn's disease, dairy allergy, diarrhea, digestion, enzymes, excess weight, fiber, food allergy, hydrochloric acid, intestine, overweight

Causes?

A variety of factors can cause the intestine to get ‘clogged’ or coated, leading to mal-absorption or allergy issues.

  • insufficient fiber: most Americans eat 5-7 grams of fiber (recommended 25-50 grams)
  • Candida overgrowth causing ‘leaky gut’ (microscopic holes in intestinal walls allowing foods to enter bloodstream and causing histamine overproduction & antibody formation)
  • insufficient pure water intake
  • too much refined sugar
  • too many processed foods stripped of live enzymes
  • inefficient enzyme production or hydrochloric acid in the stomach
  • food allergy / sensitivity causing undigested food to coat the intestine
  • more

Solutions?

  • cleanse /purify  (bowel cleanse, other cleanses)
  • repair / build
  • prevent
  • monitor progress (health quotient)

Bumpy arms?

Have raised bumps on the back of your arms?

  • Although many don’t realize this, colorless or red raised bumps on the back of the arm often indicate a delayed allergic reaction (food sensitivity) to …dairy.
  • Sometimes it’s not the dairy, but the mold (cheese) that causes the problem.
  • The bumps can indicate the body’s response to a lack of enzyme production in the stomach.
  • A lack of enzyme production can lead to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), constipation, bad breath, diarrhea, coated mouth, intestinal bloating, intestinal pain/cramping, Crohn’s Disease, undigested food causing mal-absorption issues, and all the problems associated with mal-absorption (mood, ADD, nervous system problems, etc).

Solutions?

  1. Basic Program for health
  2. Alfalfa – 10, 1-4 times a day.
  3. Digestive aid (enzymes) to help your body digest the dairy.  If this works for you, you won’t have to avoid dairy products!
  4. Starter Cleanse.  This will help remove the allergen & excessive histamine production.  What does this mean?  No more bumps for you!
  5. Contact us for a complimentary health consult.
  6. Health Quotient  Quickly discover the state of your overall health.  (Only correct contact info will allow us to share your results with you.)

Food allergies?

Food allergies

  • Food allergies occur when a low immune system mistakenly responds to a food item as if it’s harmful.  In its attempt to protect, it creates specific IgE antibodies to that food.  The next time the person eats that food, the immune system releases massive amounts of chemicals and histamines.  These chemicals trigger a cascade of allergic reactions.

  • Medline has a database of numerous studies linking food allergies with reactions. (Keywords: ‘food allergy asthma’ or ‘food allergy dermatitis’)

  • Another cause of food allergies can be a Candida overgrowth.  Candida can eat microscopic holes in the intestinal wall.  Foods ‘leak’ into the bloodstream and cause the body to produce antibodies against them.  Hence, the candida overgrowth must be contained and the intestinal wall must be repaired to stop this cycle and return the body to health.  How to stop candida overgrowth?

  • There are 2 types of responses to allergens, immediate reaction – IgE or delayed reaction IgG.

There are 2 types of allergic reactions…

  • IMMEDIATE REACTION – IgE:  This occurs within minutes after exposure.  Most common allergens are: dander, shellfish, nuts, bee stings, mold & pollen.

  • DELAYED REACTION – IgG: Appearing 24-72 hours after exposure, they’re difficult to discover. Most commonly from dairy, cigarette smoke, wheat, eggs & chemicals (in food, air, hygiene / cleaning products, clothing & water).  This type of allergen has long term affects on the body.

Med side effects – worse than the allergies?

Really?

Each allergy stricken individual should concider the negative side effects of medication.  Often times, the side effects are worse than the original symptoms.   Here are some examples.

  • ANTIHISAMINES:  insomnia, drowsiness, tremors, nervousness, irritability, dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention, rapid heartbeat, blurred vision
  • DECONGESTANTS:  restlessness, irritability, insomnia
  • STEROIDAL INHALANTS: glucocorticoid residue may supress immune defenses in mouth & throat, causing thrush due to yeast overgrowth, swallowed inhalant residues may be absorbed into bloodstream causing the same complications that occur when steroid drugs are taken orally
  • ALLERGY SHOTS: Dilluted allergens are shot into the bloodstream in hopes that the body will ‘learn’ to accept them  and stop producing antibodies in response to their presence.
  • SURGERY: A cutting instrument is thrust up the nasal cavities to remove excess bone, tissue and mucosal buildup.

Allergy symptoms:  asthma, seizures,… death?

Often sufferers don’t realize that symptoms are caused by allergies because allergies can affect the entire body.  Here are some examples:

  • RESPIRATORY:  asthma, rhinitis, hay fever, wheezing, sinus/ear infections, headaches, fever
  • SKIN: swelling (tingling) of lips, throat, larnyx, eczema (atopic dermatitis), hives / itching, skin sores, raised bumps on back of arm, heat
  • GASTROINTESTINAL: stomach pain, vomitting, diarrhea, constipation
  • CARDIOVASCULAR:  severe drop in blood pressure, shock, irregular heartbeat
  • MIND / NERVES: fatigue, seizures, anxiety, ADD, dizziness, learning difficulties, loss of consciousness, death

Hormone Elevator – too bumpy to ride?

People who eat poor diets and put themselves under an enormous amount of stress will not be in balance; their bodies will create disease. This can manifest as hormone problems (hormone inbalance, PMS, moodiness, anxiety, irritability, breast tenderness, backaches, headaches, excessive bleeding, pain, fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, miscarriage, early menopause, low energy, low sex drive), pancreatic illness, heart disease, high blood pressure, and eventually cancer.

Lifestyle of many women with menstrual disorders:

  • very stressed (good and bad stress counts)
  • unbalanced diet  (Should be 30% protein, 40% carbs, 30% fat)
  • too much high fat meat
  • too many simple carbs (white sugar & flour)
  • too few complex carbs (whole grains, legumes, beans, veggies, fruits)
  • too many dehydrating liquids (alcohal, soda, coffee)
  • too many carbonated beverages (inhibits calcium metabolism)
  • too many foods that create ‘acidic cells’
  • too many processed foods (food w/out enough nutrients for body)
  • affected by too many toxins (in air, water, food, homes, work place)

Take Hormone Questionnaire…
